Topslip - This perfect set natural spot located on the Anamalai Hills, which is about 37 Km from pollachi. Top Slip is the popular National Park of South India. There is a sanctuary, which is available here. It is also the medicinal plant conservation area in Anamalai Hills and is a part of Anamalai Wildlife Sanctuary.

Erode - Headquarters of Periyar District, Erode is the birthplace of periyar E.V. Ramaswamy affectionately called Thanthai Periyar by the people of Tamil Nadu. There are two ancient temples - one dedicated to Lord Siva and other to Lord Vishnu, each carved with some interesting inscriptions. Famous for handloom, Erode is about 92 Kms from Coimbatore.

Chennimalai - The most famous temple of Lord Muruga in Coimbatore District is Chennimalai. This world famous temple of Lord Muruga is where Lord Arunagirinathar was blessed with "Padikasu", wealth of coins. This is where an unusual phenomenon, rather a miracle took place in the year 1984 on 12th February. A bullock cart with two bulls climbed the 1320 steps on their own on this eventful day. Milk and curds are used as special offerings to Lord Muruga in Chennimalai and it is the general belief that curds do not become sour here.

Madumalai Wildlife Sanctuary - Located at about 67kms from Coimbatore, this Wildlife sanctuary, with its rich and varied flora and fauna, is home to numerous rare species of birds and animals. You can easily spot animals like elephants, giant squirrels, sambhar, chital, barking deer and flying squirrels and birds including colorful parakeets, black woodpecker, Malabar trogon and crested hawk eagle.

Siruvani Waterfalls - The Siruvani waterfalls and dam is located about 37 km to the west of Coimbatore city. The scenic beauty of the site coupled with the panoramic view of the dam and the falls make Siruvani one of the most popular tourist destinations around Coimabtore.

Bhavani - Bhavani Sagar Dam is located some 80 kilometers away from Coimbatore city. It is one of the largest earthen dams in the country built after the India's independence. It is built on the Bhavani River just below the union of Moyar River. Alongside the dam there is a well-maintained park with all amenities for children to play around and an orchard that can be enjoyed. The dam is situated some 16 kilometer west to Satyamangalam and 36 kilometer north-east to Mettuppalayam.
